— The 1st Sunday of every month following our Celebration Services, we invite newcomers to join our Practitioners for a 15-minute orientation on our Spiritual Center and what we teach.
Sunday, Feb 12 – Fat Loss/Toxicity Workshop with Dr. Ardie Singh 1pm – 3pm
You will learn:
- The basic BODY SHAPES and how hormones can distort the body-blocking weight loss even when DIET & Exercise don't work.
- How the body's FAT BURNING hormones get triggered. How Chronic Pain and SLEEPING PROBLEMS relate to your body type.
- Learn about a New Energetic Bio Sequencing technique that gets at the root cause of any syptom and disease process.
- The workshop is offered on a Love Offering basis.
Sun Feb 26 – Introduction to SOM. If you are interested in learning more about our philosophy, stay after service for this 2-hour discussion about Science of Mind and Spirit. Includes lunch and is free of charge.
Workshop - Mandala, continued

Light lunch offered at 11:45pm; workshop noon – 2pm
The theme of this second Mandala workshop is FLUIDITY, with gentle meditations and music to help us soften our brittle winter bones and prepare ourselves for the fluidity needed to invite the new growth of Spring into our body, mind and spirit. With a variety of media, we will create a simple, meaningful visual image of our process using the ancient symbol of wholeness, a circle in a square, called a MANDALA. All materials will be provided. Suggested love offering, $20.00. No skill, talent or experience is needed.
New Foundations of Science of Mind – tentatively set for 11 Saturdays, 9-noon starts Mar 17. Course Fee: $195
This class is an introduction to the Creative Process at work through spiritual principle, and includes many spiritual practices for students to explore. This course introduces spiritual mind treatment, or affirmative prayer, and is the prerequisite for all other certificated courses.
Exploring Roots of Science of Mind – 10 Monday evenings 6:30 – 9:30 starts Mar 19. Course Fee: $195
This course provides the student with an understanding of the historical roots in America of Ernest Holmes’ philosophy. Specific emphasis is given to the works of Thomas Troward, Emma Curtis Hopkins, and Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Self–Mastery: The Emergence of the True Self – 8 Wednesday evenings 6:30 – 9:30 starts Mar 14. Course Fee: $160
The class focuses on healing the perceived separation between personality and Spirit. Through an active exploration of the creative nature of thoughts and feelings, beliefs and emotions, students have an opportunity to gain mastery in the art of living as conscious, intentional beings. Prerequisites: Foundations and one other accredited SOM Class.
Sun Mar 25 – Terry McBride, Guest Speaker and Workshop Facilitator

Workshop: Taking Control of Your Creative Mind. Sunday evening March 25, from 6:30 to 9:30 PM, Terry McBride will lead a workshop that will give you the simple tools that will allow you become the creator of your own destiny. The cost to you is three hours of your time and $25.
Sun Apr 29 – New Member Orientation 11:45 – 2:30pm. If you would like to become a member, or want to learn more about it, come to this fun and lively discussion about what it means to be a member of Columbus Center. Lunch will be provided and the event is free of charge.
